This is a photo of the white flowers of Yabu Myoga ~ Pollia japonica. The flowers are a transparent white, rounded group of pearly grains. They grow in clusters in shady, quiet places. Each flower lasts only one day, and although the blooming period of each flower is short, the flowers in a group bloom one after another, staggered in blooming time. They grow straight and slender on their deep green leaves. The dark green leaves are shaped like bamboo boats. It's a beauty in the shade.
