The player is Kyle Katarn, a Rebel Alliance mercenary who helped destroy the Death Star 1 year earlier by recovering its plans. Now he's been hired once again to investigate the Galactic Empire's secret Dark Trooper project, a project to develop powerful battle droids and high-strength stormtroopers. The Force Engine is a libre, multi-platform engine that is compatible with, and extensively enhanced by, modern hardware support and improved rendering.
