   Probably just the sign of the times, but have been wondering about the origins of the phrase "going to hell in a handbasket" which media & assorted leaders seem to be gleefully wishing upon us.
   Gary Martin's "going to hell in a hovercraft" sounds more ostentatious & practical as a mode of transport.
