   The summer Covid surge has arrived. The current variants circulating can present with one or all of these typical viral symptoms—sore throat, runny nose, cough, congestion, muscle aches, fatigue or fever. Or, symptoms may be diarrhea alone or vomiting & diarrhea. GI symptoms can definitely be due to SARS-CoV-2. Test. And, of course, you can be asymptomatic with Covid, yet develop long Covid.

   Remember, if you have symptoms, you’re likely to test negative early in the course of the disease. 1/2
