FIGHT FASCISM, WEAR A MASK. US politicians are pushing mask bans, driven by a corporate agenda which wants to surveil us, deter us from protesting genocide and empire, and get us back to work and shopping — but the price is our health. US mask bans originated in the 1840s to suppress social protest, and they will be used to target BIPOC people, disabled people and pro-Palestine demonstrators. We must visibly fight this attack on our bodily autonomy, our health, and our privacy by wearing a mask in public, and requiring N95 masks at protests & community events. Tell electeds NO MASK BANS. These same politicians and corporate actors have been minimizing covid’s ongoing harms for short-term economic gains, but we keep us safe.
