[Assume there's just been a scene where Ángel and Margot have Jessie and David meet up with them, and teach them a spell or two. Now they're in Ángel's car.] On their way, at a red light, Ángel briefly closed their eyes and concentrated. David could feel that something was happening - obviously Ángel was casting a spell, but he couldn't get anything more than that. _But I'll learn,_ he thought. _Someday, I'll be able to read what's going on._ They pulled up to an empty parking space in front of a little bar whose sign proclaimed it "J&J's Bar and Grill". At the left side of the sign was a picture of a Latina in her forties in nineteenth-century style clothing; on the right, a bearded white man in a uniform that could have been naval or military, wearing a hat ornamented with an impressive burst of feathers. Jessie chuckled. "This must be the place, huh?" David looked at her with a raised eyebrow, but she was already getting out of the car along with everyone else. "Rock star parking," he said, to sound like he was keeping up with things, and then realized that must have been exactly what Ángel did when they closed their eyes: a "rock star parking" spell. _That tracks,_ he thought. _That's a really useful spell for city shamans. Hell, *any* city-dwellers!_
