An adaptation of Whistler's Mother, a painting where a woman sits in profile, looking left seemingly into space. She has a long black dress on, and her feet rest on a small footrest. The wall behind has a framed image, and a long curtain. In this version the woman has been replaced by a large knitted chicken, still wearing the black dress, chicken feet peeking out of the bottom. The framed photo on the wall is of a simple drawn figure, friend of Myfanwy (the knitted chicken).
