Poster for Gotoh Museum Summer Fine Art Exhibition "一味爽涼" (Ichimi-Sōryō: Unique and refreshing) running from Saturday 22 June to Sunday 28 July 2024. The poster features a pumpkin-shaped, white, ceramic pot with dark blue decorations of which most prominent is a picture of two monkeys eyeing each other, the one of the left is perched on the twisted trunk of a pine tree and the one on the right is crouched near the base of a bamboo stalk. Further to the right is depicted a donkey. The fitted lid of the pot has a short stub rising from its centre resembling the stalk of a harvested pumpkin.

    Went to the Gotoh Museum Summer Fine Art Exhibition "一味爽涼" (Ichimi-Sōryō: Unique and refreshing) which runs from Saturday 22 June to Sunday 28 July 2024.
    Examples of calligraphy, some from 1,300 years ago, and objects associated with summer from the museum's collection were on display.
