A Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Generation 8, laying on a wooden meeting table, the screen severed from the body, one wire disconnected and one being ripped half out of the screen, yet somehow that one cable is carrying the LVDS/display signal and wifi antenna flawlessly, and the whole laptop still miraculously functions without any issue. (the cable connects the webcam and top microphones, but I rarely used those anyway)

sometimes I run into this picture of what happened to my old work laptop, and I have to share the picture again--
I left it on top of my car, it sat on there until I was doing 130kmh / 80mph, then flew off, hit a tree, snapped in two, laid there all night and half the next day in the melting snow because I couldn't find it, and was finally brought back to me by a guard who found it while doing a patrol nearby.
Immediately after it was given back, I connected the power cable and turned it on:
