"Recall" by Daniel C. Potts, MD My mind is an hourglass of fading memories. Little sand remains. Yet tonight in my soul I walk a moonlit beach somewhere beneath A sky of southern stars. In their lower lights I find a little clam shell like the one you gave Me when pelicans flew low for us watchers of The surf, and you wrote "I love you" in tide wet Sand, then simply spoke my name like a blessing Over the turquoise horizon of my eyes.
