Italy, Australia, Japan each start in mid-90s all above 10 or 12 dpm, falling steady before each reaches below 8 dpm, some below 6 dpm, by 2022. UK has shallower trend, starting above 6 dpm in 90s, falling to nearest 4 dpm by 20s. [Italy and France show the sharpest 2020 dips, other countries showing the shallowest upward slopes after that year.] United States begins with France just below 16 dpm in 90s, but where France quickly aligns with other countries, U.S. is still above 14 dpm until 2007, sharply declining into 2011, before flattening and then climbing again thereafter. Russia is an outlier, starting at 22 dpm in 90s, dropping below 20 dpm only to climb again in the aughts to over 22 dpm, then fitfully declining to just below U.S. line only in 2020.
