Photograph. A color photo of a living space half filled with orange desert sand. It is the remains of a settlement whose houses are being reclaimed by nature over time. The whole photo with the green walls and open doors, the warm orange sand flowing in, is like a visit after the apocalypse. Info: Kolmannskuppe, or Kolmanskop, is an abandoned settlement in Namibia. The ghost town is located about ten kilometers east of the port city of Lüderitz in the Tsau-ǁKhaeb National Park. Access is strictly controlled and leaving the settlement area to the south is also prohibited, as diamonds are still mined in the restricted area.
