Manchester & Salford promotional postcards, 2021's stating "spread the word but not the virus," with a note calling for attendees to mask up, test, or just no-show if they were unwell; 2022's postcard calling on us to just "spread the word," but still has a note asking attendees to mask up if they can and, again, no-show if feeling unwell; 2023's postcard simply says "spread the word," and that's it.

The Manchester & Salford Anarchist Bookfair capitulated further each year. There are some good folks involved with it, so it's really saddening to witness this in contrast to what many anarchist bookfairs in the States frequently do, to this day. (I understand that Sheffield Radical Bookfair also went into their most recent event with Covid-safe intentions but quickly compromised.)
