Python code formatted by Black. An elif-condition with two clauses is broken in the middle of a clause because it happens to have parentheses, instead of on the `and`. Also, Black’s line continuation rules dedent the second part of the clause so it’s in line with the elif, making it seem like the elif block is done and we are in a new block.

I *hate* how dominant #Python black has become with its terrible formatting choices. I get it, it's nice to not have to think about formatting, just like it's nice to write markdown and let the renderer/theme make things pretty. But black is the equivalent of a markdown engine that only allows one theme, and the theme adds a paragraph break on every hyperlink.
