   Remember, today 35 years ago there was the massacre of the Tiananmen Square protests.

   Several hundreds to several thousand civilians were shot, at times in their backs, by the PLA as well as run over by armoured personnel carriers (APC) and main battle tanks (MBT). And thousands more were wounded.
