I've only used #FreeBSD and #NetBSD lately. FreeBSD has ZFS quite well integrated. When I was younger, the BSDs seemed yawn-worthy: Linux was where all the new stuff was happening. Now a few of those "new stuffs" have come and gone, and I appreciate the ability to store my stuff somewhere that won't break, whose goals are less beholden to corporate initiatives.
In fact, of late, I've seen a lot of #illumos chatter on my timeline...
