   ARGH.

   Finally managed to get the bigger disk space freed up on my D drive, but the Disk Manager has the option to extend the partition greyed out.

   I'm thinking I'll have to delete my linux partition altogether, create a new bigger partition with all that free space, and reinstall.

   A pain, but oh well. Lesson learned.
