The countries opposing nuclear power or unlikely to consider building new units are: Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldavia and Cyprus. The countries slowly phasing out nuclear or potentially considering building new reactors are: Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia and Greece.
