   Hey @starlabssystems!

   On the Starfighter, the F1..F12 keys act as special keys (volume, multimedia, etc) by default, and need depressing the Fn key in order to function as Fnn instead.

   Is there a way to invert this behaviour, i.e., that by default they emit the Fxx code, and with Fn, they emit the multimedia ones?

   I could not find any BIOS (26.7) setting for this; the only Fn-related setting is about swapping Fn and left Ctrl, which is not what I'm looking for.

   I've noticed that several websites where I've been happily using 2FA with them sending me an SMS message for years seem to want me to switch to using an authenticator app instead.

   Is that really more secure? How? And if so, is that level of security realistically needed for anything a normal person might do except banking?
