   Oh noooo the TV is one inch wider than the space available for mounting a TV 😭

   My brother & sister-in-law spent way too much time trying to take those floating shelves off the wall (because I don't really need them) & eventually gave up in despair.

   New plan: one of my other brothers is a carpenter. I'm going to ask his advice on how practical it might be just to cut a couple of inches off the side of each shelf, then reattach the laminate to the cut edges.
