   #Hiking through the burned area south of the Valles Caldera #NewMexico, with views of Valle Grande and a trident tree.

   It looks like the route to Rabbit Mountain may be easier than before -- some of the down trees from older fires seem to have been cleared by the 2022 Cerro Pelado fire (which was part of what we were hoping to find out). But we had to cut the hike short because a thunderstorm threatened.
