Photo looking at a transition between a large parking lot and a cycle path that is supposed to be protected by painted wooden bollards locked to sheaths. UC Davis employees rarely lock them, rarely put them back in after taking them out, and sometimes even throw them in the bushes so no one else can put them in. On either side of the intersection are two permanent metal bollards marking the transition from cycle path to decomposed granite landscape bed. On the ground next to one are removed wooden bollards that have been there on the ground for weeks. The sun is setting to the left.
