Photo is of the top/back of the dress, hanging up, with the zip open so you can see the lining on the inside. The ‘lining’ is actually a lightweight internal corset, in denim blue mesh, which just smooths the lines down to hip-bone level.

   Here it is, damned nearly finished… the asymmetrical neckline dress, with self-drafted skirt in blue/black microcheck.

   There are things I could criticise about this, but it has been all kinds of an experiment from the start, so the fact that it’s turned out wearable is a bonus.

   Note the combo of internal corset and heavy-gauge concealed zip. It’s not very constrictive, but the zip is under a bit of tension with the lining.
