At the end of a pregame interview with Brooke Olzendam, Chauncey Billups had a look on his face like the cat that cornered the mouse. The team is finally beginning to show that the process is working.
Heck, I saw the GM applauding. Go find the first game of the season. Not much applauding back then.
As players (and the coach) have been reiterating in interviews, they've trusted in the system, and now they see the rewards. Everyone takes responsibility to execute the plays correctly. They are playing faster and with fewer turnovers.
"90% of the game is half mental" also applies.
Tonight is the back end of a back-to-back for them. The first was an OT high-energy contest they won against the Suns, sweeping a 2-game home series. Portland has won 8 of their last 9 games, including a 3-game road sweep.

As for being in the minority, i think a lot more people have come over to that side.
I think there is actually an even larger number that still hope voting will work, but strongly suspect that it won't.
