The 2022 Pulitzer Prize Winner in Special Citations and Awards The Journalists of Ukraine The Pulitzer Board awards a special citation to the journalists of Ukraine for their courage, endurance, and commitment to truthful reporting during Vladimir Putin’s ruthless invasion of their country and his propaganda war in Russia. Despite bombardment, abductions, occupation, and even deaths in their ranks, they have persisted in their effort to provide an accurate picture of a terrible reality, doing honor to Ukraine and to journalists around the world.

Utterly ridiculous from the Pulitzer Prize committee today.
This Pulitzer citation supposedly honoring 🇵🇸 journos doesn't actually do so.
"Journalists & media workers covering the war in Gaza" includes everyone, Palestinian or otherwise.
The citation fails to mention the nationality of the journalists who "died" (euphemism which downplays the worst recorded journo slaughter), or the identity of their killers, the Israeli army.
Please compare with the 2022 citation for 🇺🇦 journalists.
