   @alwynispat I spent about 2000SGD last year advertising. Multiple platforms, multiple strategies. I got 2 clients. They didn't cover that 2000SGD spend.

   My service is quite niche so I don't think it's easy to get customers from advertising. My manually typed cold email haven't gotten any responses yet.

   Now I don't want to come across as ranting or whining because I know freelance IT consulting isn't the most attractive product. I'm just amazed that everyone else thinks cold emails are the way
