   Where people self identify or use it as a term of endearment to mean slightly weird, antisocial, and some combination of cute, diminutive, hungry, and non-threatening

   It feels much more prevalent in certain online spaces, like alternative social media

   I'd intended my original post as a joke more than any actual self identification
