Fringed iris flowers bloom quietly in the forests of Japan. They radiate cool colors in the shade of the trees. Among the species of iris they are very plain, but upon closer inspection the petals have a silky sheen. The glossy purple and yellow spots on the white background are beautiful. They have the air of a gorgeous heron.
