   Please stop using Discord for... well, anything. Development work, organising, friendly hangouts. But especially anything legally grey or which might even conceivably be against a large company's corporate interests.

   The services Discord offers to businesses include key phrase searches in even private channels to, for example, help them protect against leaks or IP theft.

   By using it as a free team chat platform, you're putting yourself and your team at risk.

   Get a Matrix or Signal room, host an IRC channel. Use something else.

   With encryption and/or a server you control.
