Garmin Forerunner 45s strap mounting point is a poorly designed thin section of the watch body and it was sheared off.

   Be careful if you're considering buying any #garmin products, some of them are designed very poorly and they won't take responsibility for their bad design.

   My wife's relatively new watch strap broke, but it's the mounting bosses on the case that have broken (like most others with this problem, she hadn't banged it or anything, she was sitting on the couch and it just fell off).

   Garmin know about this common problem but still want $107 to fix their mistake.
