Fifteenth week of Pirola BA.2.86 grankid JN.1 wave. Per GISAID, late March, easily three quarters of this likely attributable to subvariants—including upstart JN.1.4.
JN.1.4 still over ⅐ of JN sequences in GISAID. CDC hasn't broken out.
CDC has broken out JN.1.13 (~2% in GISAID) & JN.1.18 (~6%); continues to muddy data with variants moot for months.
