An irregular galaxy filled with many bright, blue stars and pink clouds of energized gas resembles the shape of a blunt arrowhead pointing upward. The portion of the arrowhead at lower right contains many more stars than the portion at lower left. A smaller, yellowish, face-on spiral galaxy is located to the left of the main galaxy at 10 o’clock. Dozens of foreground stars are scattered across the image.
