Oh no. I may have accidentally found a task that an LLM is suitable for.
We have come up with what we think is a reasonable classification system for the code examples in our docs.
We have ~27,000 things that *might* be code examples.
My brain is down the rabbit hole of figuring out how to get an LLM to apply our rubric to classify our code examples.
So far, early testing = acceptable accuracy. So no need to manually audit 27,000 examples, hopefully!
@liaizon Personally, and the way the term was used, since it was first coined, was any software with #OStatus support (later #ActivityPub).
When there were discussions of having a new name, I ran suggestion threads and polls about it, and one suggestion/choice was mycelial, mycelium. I like it so I started using it myself.
By definition:
* A mycelium is a single network.
* A mycelial is a collection of various mycelium.
Adopting it to #SocialWeb:
* The "Fediverse" is one mycelium network.o, based on ActivityPub
* "The Federation" / #diaspora* is another mycelium network.
* #Matrix is a mycelium network.
* #ATproto is another mycelium network.
* #XMPP / #Jabber is a mycelium network.
Together, they are called Mycelial Web. A collection of "decentralised, distributed, federated, and open, network". A subset of the Social Web.
A "sister", if you will, of the Mycelial Web is IRC and e-mail, as examples.
So:
I. Web
A. Social Web
1. IRC
2. E-mail
3. Mycelial Web
* Fediverse/ActivityPub
* ATproto
* diaspora
* Matrix
* XMPP
.
@ChristiJunior @mu
You have to understand, that these people do not ask "what is correct" but only "what is socially acceptable" in any situation. For the last 20 years, that was agreeing with the left no matter what insane things they were pushing.
But: That changed in the last 2 years. Not only does the right no longer care about shaming (at an exponential rate), but also, the lefties have been pushing terroristic acts so hard, that the right has genuinely given up on live and let live principle. Sweet baby and butt light being the perfect examples.
So, prepare for a funny storm, where these people do realize, that supporting the right might be the way of least resistance, and switch to the furthest right you can imagine just to "fit in". Once that happens to enough people, I have honestly no fucking idea what happens then.
