   Welp. My long-suffering 8-year-old phone finally kicked the bucket. Its performance was worsening and the battery life was dwindling, but not enough to be a huge problem. However, it took a dunk in water, and while it was waterproofed, enough moisture got into the charge port that it shorted the plug and ruined the port. Thankfully, it still works, and is likely in a state where I’ll probably be able to perform a data rescue, but otherwise it won’t charge, so it’s as good as useless.

   In all honesty, I needed to upgrade. But right now, even a lower end phone is going to cost a fair bit more than I can spare right now. If anyone could spare $150, it’d be a huge help. Thank you!
