The title of the article that you listed said that 1 in 8 women has secretly voted differently than their partner. The subtitle says that 1 in 10 men have secretly voted differently from their partner too.
Again, my point is not that this never ever happens.
My point is that there's a pretty good overlap between people that suddenly care about this, and people that don't believe Black folk when we say that half of the racism that we experience is from white women.
@trochee oddly enough this thought came from a discussion about Figma’s new AI features.
I don’t think they’re playing 3D chess with the point of these features, they’re just following the hype train and trying to be reasonable about how it might help people, with a lot of uncertainty in how that happens.
My conclusion here is, if they understood the jobs their customers actually do (in Figma’s case the discussion was around getting out of high fidelity and actually modeling solutions and conceptual directions) then they could design tools, AI or otherwise, that are genuinely valuable. Like, I don’t know, something that helps designers work through a fantastic approach to their process in a humanistic and user-centric way, rather than just helps plagiarize high-fidelity UIs for useless conceptual ideas that have no connection to reality.
I don’t believe that their customers are demanding “replace humans with AI” or expect that to be realistic (yet).
@blindcoder Wow! Amazing!
Keep it up and stay healthy!
Had a similar goal when I started, weight and doing it without walk breaks.
Sadly, I got sick, water was found in my left lung which was causing high fevers. Ended up bed ridden for months, then more months for additional rest.
To this day, I'm still on recovery running. My goals changed, I have to expand my lungs again and recover the muscles I've lost.
Though, one good thing, I didn't gain much weight as what usually happens.
My mistake was, I don't change clothes after a run. I just rest somewhere, wipe my back, and let the shirt dry on me. 🤦🏽♂️😅
