   Reminder (largely to myself, but to anyone else who needs to hear it):

   Pace yourself.

   The despicable, the disgusting, the hateful, the criminal, will be coming at us from all corners.

   It is, and will be, exhausting. Choose your battles. Choose your friends wisely. Save energy. Love those who deserve it.

   But yeah - there is a difference from knowing "it will be bad" to seeing the specific shapes and forms bad will take.

   Pace yourself.

   The cat scurried about, under the floorboards, above the floorboards, along the walls, and at one point someone claims, along the ceiling.

   The cat was hunting shadow imps, and the place had many little dark corners.

   It wasn't sure why... probably something to do with too much negative energy, or dog hair, both were pretty bad.

   Eventually, the cat was full, so the job was done enough for now; time for a nap, then more food!
