   tho soulsborne games are not my thing, i appreciate elden ring for a few things

   among them is

   1. there is an official manga

   2. the official manga is there to be fucking stupid. no lore. no character story. no even summary of what happens in the game really. it's STUPID. it's fucky-wucky times for silly little lads and not just leans on the fourth wall but makes a little squeaky hammer out of it. it's a manga about a very hard video game that knows it's that and there to make you laugh about playing a very hard video game.

   it is akin to how, despite never playing dark souls and probably never wanting to play dark souls, i still every so often have to cackle in amusement when i rewatch Happy Souls. the woohoo!!! yeaaaaaah!!!! of having lightning magic lives in my head rent-free. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kr7KDCsIws
