How much do you trust your File System?
What kind of idiot would do this on purpose?
rm -f .ssh/*
I'll tell you: The kind that is using #DragonFlyBSD #Hammer2
root@anzu:~ # hammer2 recover /dev/da0s1d .ssh /home/gnemmi/tmp
[gnemmi@anzu ~]% ls tmp/.ssh/
id_rsa.00001 known_hosts.00002
id_rsa.pub.00001 known_hosts.old.00001
Rename the files, moved them back to .ssh/ and done
Even the mtime got preserved!
In detail https://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~gnemmi/recover
