A smallish bumble bee is fast asleep on a not quite open pink strawflower. The petals close to center are unopened and stand upright. The outer petals are open, horizontal and still pale pink coloured like the center ones; the very outside ones can be seen through gaps and are nearly red. In the valley between closed and open petals the bumble bee sleeps on is side. The background are blurry grey wooden chair panels and greenery of leaves.
