Two bronze markers embedded in the pavement in front of the house where the murdered citizens lived. The top one says "Ruth Olschowski, 1904, moved involuntarily 1938 Berlin, deported 1944, murdered in Auschwitz". The bottom one says "Hans-Peter Olschowski, 1923, moved involuntarily 1938 Berlin, deported 1943 Auschwitz, 1945 murdered Mittelbau-Dora". The wording "moved involuntarily" means they tried to escape by hiding in the city of Berlin.
