Synth module called "Rene" mounted in a desktop rack. It is black and gold, and shows two distinct parts. The entire panel is approx 130mm high by 170mm, and is matt black. On the left a matrix of 16 small knobs. On the right a matrix of 16 gold capacitative touch pads,, each of an intricate interlocking lines design. Above it are two more elongated similar pads and a row of coloured LEDs above that at the top right of the panel are three jack sockets. Above the knob matrix are six jack sockets . At top centre of the whole panel is the name "Rene" in white. We can see parts of other modules to the left in the rack, and to the top behind the rack a yellow envelope, part of a grey ribbon cable and a tangle of wires
