   Russell Vought of Project 2025 was hand picked by the Trump campaign to the committee that wrote this year’s RNC platform (remember the one that had the Trump flair?)—

   Also, he speaks of Project 2025 working as people who will do their bidding are put into position in gov’t. He believes Trump will put those people in power.

   As for JD Vance, Vought says he is a “member version of what we do.”

   Yea there is certainly some portion of the problem that boils down tot he fact that people just dont use their negotiating power.

   As someone who has done a lot of hiring lately I've had people come in so low I've literally had to offer them **more** than they ask for. I cant imagine most companies would do that, nor should they have to, typically both parties do and should be negotiating for their interests. Its just most people just find negotiating stressful and would rather not, but sadly thats just a life skill society needs to function.

   @misc @mekkaokereke @georgeeyong The _most_ support any fascist politician has ever gotten in a free and fair election is something like 34%. Fascism is ultimately an unpopular organizing principle, and requires violence and intimidation to usurp power.

   As violence is integral to the fascist calculus, they _do_ respect strength in numbers, but if you have numbers and refuse to be intimidated, their ability to project force is greatly diminished.

   Deep down, most of them are just bullies.
