A LaCie CDR drive, in a D2 case. There are a few burned CDs on top of the drive in jewel cases, and a spindle of 100 blank disks beside it. I think this is actually a fancy CD RW drive

   December 15! Time to burn some CDs.

   One of the most revolutionary products in my teenage life. Unlimited backup! Music for the car! Mixes for friends!

   I had a similar drive (still somewhere in the collection) hooked up to the Performa 6400 Video Editing Edition, and the CDs on top of the drive contain a video project we created as an 8th grade class. Also just installed OS9 on a Lombard from a CD burned in this era. 4x or bust!
