    @Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com @vnpower@mstdn.maud.io It's quite easy. If it says "AppleWebKit" and/or "Chrome" and/or "Safari" it's not human.Whether you like it or not, that's not the case. Actual browsers use those in their user agent, and you said yourself earlier we cannot expect users to fix this.It's a massive SKILL ISSUE putting "Mozilla" where "AppleWebKit" belongs;Then so too its a skill issue to not identify IceCat as IceCat/1.0 or whatever version it is.As you can see, most LLM scrapers are banking on blocking or attacking iSheep or Chrome used being too costlyI can see only 3 potential LLM scrapers there, out of many. For the record, I am blocking those, and without Anubis my cgit instance will still serve literal tens of thousands of requests to connections pretending to be users. So no, not "most", only a few, maybe two dozen or so, are identifying themselves appropriately. The other dozens if not hundreds do not.

    @freeschool

    So keep in mind my first response wasnt about "whats the problem and how to fix it" .. it was more about "what is fascism and when is it a problem", I want to be clear even if central banks dont in and of themselves represent fascism that in no way is meant to imply they arent problematic in other ways, nor am I implying there isnt a serious issue when it comes to poverty and how we handle it as a society, there absolutely is.

    As for how to solve the problem... well most problems are 90%+ social and can only be solved at home in how we raise our children. We can do some things to give people a better chance at raising their children with the resources they need, but that will only go so far as it isnt the bulk of the problem really. That said, we have to address the problem from the only angle we can as a society, even if that means we can only hope to have a small impact.

    The main solutions revolve around providing good welfare, but conditional (none of this UBI crap) where anyone will get generous help to get on their feet but it will be based on the merrit of their participation and not a free ride. So things like, free paid school up to PhD level, and offering better welfare options to people in school working to better themselves. Stuff like that.

    @nikatjef @root42 @tob @Tattooed_Mummy They are unable to tell the truth. All they can do is mimic the truth with no actual control that they DO tell the truth. Relying on AI for facts is not a good idea, since they cannot determin what fact is.

    As someone else put it on here, we have burned billions of dollars, and are destroying the environment with enormous data centers burning drinking water and electricity, to produce tech that makes computers pretend they can't do math.

    Wangari Kuria spoke about how alarming global warming truly is.

    As the Kenyan activist and 2023 Global Citizen Prize winner told the crowd: “I am a smallholder farmer from Ngatataek Kajiado, a dusty town in arid Kenya… In our local language, Kiswahili, global warming literally translates to: 'Alarm, alarm! The world is on fire.' This is something the whole world needs to hear.”
