   This is exactly the problem. You cannot stop idiots from doing idiot shit without also stopping clever people from moving everyone else forward. If you have a bunch of barely awake drones doing menial tasks, sure: fuck Janet in HR, she can use an appliance machine.

   What the goddamn dick are you talking about? OSX is not "heavily modded Linux". Apple's OS is a microkernel with a FreeBSD-forked userland, then locked way down. It was so locked down that, when a security vulnerability was found in git, there was no way to fix this because their OS doesn't allow you to overwrite anything in /bin, /usr/bin, /sbin, etc.
