While running an SSH honeypot, I encountered an unusual incident. An adversary connected to the server and downloaded some kind of malware using wget from their webserver. Curious, I decided to investigate the webserver by accessing it with my browser. To my surprise, as the site loaded, an intense, strange and really loud sound, which was embedded in the website blared through my headphones, and startled me a lot for a few seconds.
