   Here is what I thought would happen:

   The DC appellate court would decide quickly and the Supreme Court would refuse to step in.

   They refused to step in in the past, so I figured that would happen again.

   Then the matter would be settled quickly.

   That's why my first reaction was that it was bold and gutsy.

   It was also smart because it is clear what the Supreme Court will do, given what they've done in the Trump cases since November 2020.
