I'm still watching this thread as I can but it's rather overwhelming. I was able to catch NoriEnolife's comment above this one.
I've said this a number of times and it is in fact, true. Not sure how you see this as conspiracy hallucintion Clinton.
If a deep red state like the one I live in (Texas) will most certainly see Trump winning all it's electoral votes, the three or five percent of voters who vote third party really make no difference in the presidential election. It's different for battleground states obviously be deep red or true blue states... doesn't really matter for the most part.
So Nori is absolutely correct.
However in down ballot elections, this is where votes truly count.

It’s amusing how that article (1) describes yet another approach + set of tools different from all the replies to my posts above, totally nonstandard, that (2) meticulously reproduce almost exactly the standard approach shared by Cargo, Bundler, SwiftPM, NPM, etc. Just a remarkable example of non-learning on Python’s part.
So much of this already a solved problem. Just steal it and standardize it!
