NJPW will be crowning the Inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18.
This will replace the IWGP United Kingdom (/United States) Championship that was introduced in 2017.
Will Ospreay will be the defending going into this match against Jon Moxley & David Finlay.
