Here's a important #PSA if you use #Windows:
#Microsoft is in the process of installing the new #Outlook app on Windows 10 and 11 automatically if you don't have it yet in this week's cumulative updates.
The new Outlook app is very problematic and #privacy violating as slated here that quietly brings all of your email data (even it's competitors) onto Microsoft's cloud servers.

Some background reading: https://www.xda-developers.com/privacy-implications-new-microsoft-outlook/
MS Outlook apps have been updated. #Outlook as a mail client no longer exists. Only Outlook as a Microsoft #Webmail wrapper. Thus busting privacy and security for anyone using it to access non MS accounts (eg self-hosted mail, or any 3rd party groupware). https://www.xda-developers.com/privacy-implications-new-microsoft-outlook/
“Microsoft’s new Outlook client quietly moves your email to the cloud”
We do all realise that this is worse, right? It doesn’t matter if these apps or the new version of Windows have fewer bugs, they are now objectively worse in every way that matters https://www.xda-developers.com/privacy-implications-new-microsoft-outlook/
